After the recent lock down Perth experienced, it became apparent of how important it is to have not only a great office set up outside of the home, but also a great set up inside of the home.

A lot of people found themselves in shock that Sunday evening when word got out about the 5-day lock down. Many found themselves with only 4 hours’ notice to prepare. Businesses were forced to close their office for the week, allowing their staff members to work at home. However, with only four hours’ notice many found themselves in tricky situations navigating how they were going to make things work. To avoid future stress, we have put together a list of our 3 MUST have and MUST do things in the event of Perth lock down 3.0

1. Ensure you have access to a clean work environment. Whether you are working at a desk in the spare room or at the dining room table, it is important to have a clean and tidy space to ensure you feel comfortable and focused.

2. Have a stash of stationary. Even though we live in an ever-increasing paperless world, it is important to also have a small stash of basic stationary like pens, paper and highlighters, all in easily accessible place. This will make it easier for you to quickly write down ideas or take notes in your next zoom meeting.

3. Make sure you have comfortable office equipment. Ensuring you have comfortable ergonomic office equipment is a must when working from home. It is important to not only take care of your health and well being when in the office, but also when you are in your home office.
